demon340 Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 hey i remember asking a guy on here how much a stock axle would be to have it powder chromed. i cant remember who does it or who i asked. if anyone knows please let me know i need to have an axle powder chromed. or do you guys think it would be cheaper just to have it dipped in chrome? RNBRAD Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 Chrome plating is actually the cheap part, it's the time involved smoothing and buffing out the finish is where the cost is. If it is relatively smooth already, looking at around 35 dollars avg. Quote

I work for a company that has chrome shops around the globe. The waste and containment issues as well as handling costs big $$. I bought a g-force axle for 199 chrome with a rad-type lock nut +2/+4 Quote
