sheeintoxicated Posted February 13, 2005 Author Report Posted February 13, 2005 Thank you sick boy.Anything on any bike can rust if you don't take care of it..I am just trying to sell the rear brake lever because i got a roll design one .and i am one of the fair's people out thier when is't comes to selling something. I never charge for shipping and don't ask alot for the part like other people... Quote
SICK BOY Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 If you spray the parts with clear coat, rusting shouldn't be a problem at all. Quote
Wallrat Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 Ya alot depends on where you live and how your shee is stored. If its in a semi warm garage in a dry area it probably won't rust if you keep her clean. My house it'd rust by morning. Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 yea i polished my kicker and shifter and brake lever which are all steel, wasent a mirror finish but looked allrgiht, i used mother polish to keep the shine up, and also sprayed it with clear coat, but in the shitty ny weather, i found myself repolishing it every week. Brian060 Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 I just finished polishing my kicker. Im gonna put AT LEAST 4 clear coats on it. Quote
