I got my shee down to the frame and back from the powdercoater and well sense everything is in peices i might as well clean it all up, is there anything i can just spray and wipe? Or do i need to sit there with a blade and scrape everything off by hand?

that purple stuff from castrol works well too, just make sure you dont get any on bare aluminum. it'll eat into it, and leave marks... banghead

Simple green is alright, but my dad had some house and siding wash from cleaning the house this summer, and that shit is amazing, most cleaners you have to wipe everything off, but this, you just got the hose and you could see it hosing off...best thing i ever used...

SUZUKI MOTORCYCLE WASH

I get mine at my local bike shop. Awesome product. They also make Suzuki ATV Wash, its stronger, but does some damage to chrome as I'm told. The Motorcycle Wash awesome! :headbang:

Take the frame and any other greasy parts to the local self serve power-spray car wash. Get a bucket, set the power washer to "Engine Cleaner" and spray the parts down, then fill the bucket halfway with the engine cleaner, get a good brush, and scrub that crud off. If these parts are going to the powder coater, they don't have to pe perfectly clean. They will sandblast the parts before they coat them. You need to inspect for stress cracks that will need to be welded before it gets coated.

Make sure to spray wd-40 on any bare metal areas to keep it from rusting.
