Correct me if I'm wrong, but the idea of the torsion bar is to put up-down tension on your front wheels, and still allow them to flex up and down at a certain rate so it'll ride good. If you crank your torsion bars up to the max, then it'll stiffen the hell out of your front end and cause it to become rigid and bouncy, and not perform very well off road. I'm unsure of the total amount of gain, but it usually isn't more than what it'd take to level a vehicle either.

sredish you are right , but these keys allow you to set the adjustment to stock and gain 2 inches of liftyou not putting that much more tension on them cause the keys are offset different inside. hard to explain you would have to see it if you dont own a chevy but they work, i have done many of them.
