i'm getting ready to have my swinarm re-welded (cracks) and i wanted to see about shortening it. i'm just not sure where to take from. i wanted to make sure that the shock mount stays in the correct place. has anyone done this and how did it work out.

thanks

That should tell you everything you need to know..... You better buy your buddy a case of beer and throw some chops on the grill. It'll take a solid 4 hours to git r done.
