2000bansheeryder Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 Was wondering if i left my A-arms at stock length and went with a +2 rear axle how would this effect my cornering also if it was reverse where i would +2 my A-arms and leave my axle at stock? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Quote
superbanshee03 Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 I Would go with the +2 A-Arms and leave the axel stock, your bike will be harder to turn the longer it is. Get a -2 Swing arm and it will turn alot better. Quote
stu Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 Id go with the axle first but thats just me. It will be a lot less $$$ than the a-arms, and you'll have to get some shox to go with the arms too for most benefit. stu Quote
fixitrod Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 You will gain a lot of stability with a wider axle. It's cheaper then gettings a-arms and shocks for now. As far as steering goes it'll be about the same. Maybe a touch wider, but probably nothing you'll notice. Quote
2000bansheeryder Posted February 1, 2005 Author Report Posted February 1, 2005 Thanks a lot for your input on this project. So if i get a +2 axle it wont affect my cornering with stock a-arms that much? Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 Switch your rear tires and see what you think of the stability, I Quote

PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 I was looking into this also, Decided to do both at the same time A-arms and shocks are so expensive, what anotehr $200 for a ge-force at the same time heh. 315549[/snapback] I've had my rims flipped since I bought it with no problems but when I decide to get a new swinger I will get an axle to go with it. Did you get the G-force? What do you think of it? Quote
