ssanddemon Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 i was lookin around at banshee sites for mods and came across this has... i have heard of a turbo banshee before , but does anyone on here have it done , or have any more info on it ??? A guy here in Portland (Twister Performance) pioneered the 3- cylinder banshee motor. I know he puts nitrous to them and gets something like 200 hp. Didn't know some maniac would go the turbo route. Personally, I think it would SUCK. Since it's a 2-stroke, it needs an expansion pipe. So you can't have the tubo close to the motor, lag would be a real bitch, impossible to overcome due to the necessary distance between turbo and motor. Gone the 2-stroke 'snap', now something more like a jet engine . A lightweight 4 stroke with turbo would be a lot more fun to ride. Quote
demonspeeding42069 Posted January 31, 2005 Author Report Posted January 31, 2005 actually from what i saw it worked pretty good on the banshee .... other web site had tests on it and all that it gives it 145 hp comes with a guarntee not to mess anything up .. its all bolt on i cant quite remember everything but it did like either the 300 ft race or they qaurter mile race on sand at 10 seconds at 110 mph, also the turbo kit has been in dirt wheelz back in like 94-96 addition (dirt wheelz sux ass but) any other info ?
