hey guys,

A couple weeks ago my shee died on my while riding in the snow. Later, my bro put it on reserve and it started right up. However, i bought it used and the same tank of gas we bought it with was still in. I figured that the carbs were gummed up so i pulled em off and cleaned the pilot jets and stuff. HOWEVER.. i dont think thats the problem. We got the carbs mounted up on the bike again, and it STILL wont spark (yes, it didnt spark before) After cleaning some of the connections, we got some spark, and the we lost it. THe bike will start if its towed behind a truck at full throttle, but it will run like shit in be impossilbe to kick start after that. We know that the ignition switch and coil are good. What else can it be? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just got the banshee and hadnt ridden it more than 4 hours  .

BTW, the plugs are not fouled!

Sounds like either a bad Stator or CDI!!!

also try to see if a wire is broke somewhere...just a thought..

My bet, is the stator, if U don't have spark!!!

*Update*

I ordered my Ricky Stator stator on thursday and got it on friday. Thats incrediably fast considering it was shipped from CA and i live in NY. Anyway, It bolted right on, and the shee started right up.

The first thing i did when it started was turn the lights on and... DAMN!!! They were very bright at idle and did not get any brighter when revved. Now thats the way it should be  . Since it comes on an adjustable timing plate and all, im goin +4 when i get some mods. Two Thumbs up
