93blueoval Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 I have a set of toomey t-5's on my banshee. they are really nasty. covered in rust, and really dull. i know they are good pipes and they dont have any dents in them so i was thinking of getting them chromed. is it worth the money, or should i try to find some nice used ones. also, has anyone had pipes chromed? about how much does it cost?? BdBanshee Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 Just get them chromed, should be around $100 Quote
dnhyoung Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 I don't kow of anyone that will do a used pipe for less than $150 per Pipe. To do any kind of a decent job the pipes need to be soaked for about 3 weeks to remove all of the carbon otherwise the chroming process wil not take, and their tanks will be contaminated. I got mine Ceramic Coated, and they look almost as good as new... Quote
wesw Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 get you some cpi or rockets cost $$$ but would be nice and meaner Quote

Can't the pipe's holes be plugged? Edited January 30, 2005 by 98bonerSTOCKshee Quote
