degree key or timing plate

anyone use the degree key instead of the entire timing plate? I remmeber someone saying a site where you can get the timing plate for like $30, but did a search and couldn't find that post.

Ive broken a degree key...ive never broken a timing plate. well actually i did..i busted a screw off in my ricky stator one because they didnt tap the holes all the way through. Ive got a modded stock plate now.
