I am a newbie this is my first post. I have been looking into the 05 Banshee but I have a few questions. First is it true that the Banshee has a problem heating up? Second if I buy a 2005 Banshee will it be a quad I can ride for hours with out temp problems. Also how reliable are they? Thanks any info will help.

:D Your safe getting a Banshee, just remember after riding take time to clean and check your machine often. Keep your radiator clean from dirt and debris. Alot of people have troubles with their shees when they continue to ignore your basic checks list. Owning a banshee is a thrill and will give you years of G force pulls if you keep it like you bought it....clean. When you spend time like cleaning your shee up you learn alot about its parts and how it works. I get alot of sh*t from friends who own fourstrokes when I take time to polish and clean my shee up, but their problems are only begining when they throw their quads in the garage and let mud and dirt cake all over it. I would personally look for a good deal and get a used one. In my opinion I think brand new motorcycles aren't the greatest investment isn't the world. By the time its all said and done that bike will cost over $6,000 and that is bone stock. There is no difference between a 2005 and the rest except for a domn brakelight. Do some shopping around first.

I liked getting mine new cause I know where it's been and so I could customize it as I wanted (port it etc) but I also had some extra cash at the time.

Thats my thoughts on buying a new machine too. That way you know what you are getting, and you can do exactly what you want to the bike.
