NugShee Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 Hey guys, I just picked up a bitchen blaster for $500. everything on it is chromed or powdercoated but the a arms and axle. My question is can I have the stock a arms powdercoated? I know on Banshee's there is a plastic something or rather that will melt on the a arms but will I still run into this problem with the blaster? It has to be heated up to 400 degrees. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks again. Quote
SICK BOY Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 I'd say take the arm bushings out,and the boot of the ball joint and do it.I don't know what else is rubber/plastic on them. Quote

So if anyone knows anymore about having them done please please let me know. Thanks a bunch Quote
BdBanshee Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 If the ball joint is built into the arm like the Banshee, then don't do it. There is a plastic socket around the ball joint that will get ruined by the heat. Quote
locogato11283 Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 im sure those arms are set up the same way as the banshees are. i dont think id do it. they havent already been PCed for a reason. you will melt that boot deal on the ball joint for sure. Quote
