im unsure of what youre talking about, but if they are what im thinking you can use a few things. 1 is a set of snap ring pliers. another is a sharpened set of needle nose pliers, or some dental picks. the pliers work the best. but any of those can be used.

I'm way confused... the only clips I've seen that I can remember on a stock banshee is the rear brake lever pin (e-clip), and one in the front master cylinder (internal snap ring).

guys: it is the outter cir clip on both the top and bottom of the shock which secures the rotating bushing in place. go to this link for a description and diagrahm

the must be a special tool to help remove it. it is difficult because you cant get anything beside it to wedge it out. maybe something that could wedge between the open ends and go behind it to compress it. any help appreciated

I mean the circlips that hold the bushings in place on the top and bottom of the shock

Well, if you haven't already got them out, I just did exactly what you are trying to do!!.

Try using a very small ice pick and pick the end of it until it moves, then try to pry another pic or a very very small presision flat-head in there and move it up and out.

One end came out in <5 mins and the other was like 15...It should work. Spray some WD40 in there to get it loose..Good Luck
