DG Pipes

Do DG pipes sound similar to other name brand pipes like toomey, procircut and FMF? I've heard some people say they dont perform as good, but they sound pretty decent.

 

Can you use DG sliencers with other pipes? would it give it a different sound then with the original silencer? Like would toomey pipes and DG sliencers sound different than toomey pipes and sliencers?

i use too have dg pipe with toomey silencer and i love it verry good power verry nice sound too , now i have toomey t6 and i wish i still have my dg ,they(toomey) sucks with ported motor, thats just my two cents

I'm not too sure about mixing up the silencers (how they sound) but DG pipes with DG silencers sound very similar to my toomey T5's. I liked the way the DG's pulled, seemed to be the stongest in the mid range. I have no complaints about them, and would probably still have them on my shee if they hadn't rusted up so bad...I think they are a good pipe for the money.

My Dg pipes are a little older, but they look and sound a helluva like FMF Fatties. They don't have the same topend hit like Tommey's but midrange is better.

Yeah I agree, the finish is kinda crappy

My friend has dg's with pc II's...they sound bad.
