Fireman-hott Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 For trails and MX its hands down the one you want. Smooth powerhit. Pulls hard as hell down low. As far as dragging you'll get up to speed quicker because of the increased torque from the 2 into 1 but it will sign out sooner. Gear up a tooth or 2 in the front depending on your motor mods and that should kinda alleviate that problem. But remember to gear back down for your trails and mx. 15 tooth or 14 tooth would bee good. 16 for drags if you can pull it. Quote
KRMit Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 This may sound like a stupid question, but how do you know if a cylinder dies on ya? I mean, I fouled a plug one time and immediately knew which cylinder it was by the exhaust. How could you tell with the 2 into 1? Quote

For the riding you dexcribe chances are you wont be needing the top end and it will be able to hang a ton better in the woods with the newer 4 strokes. If a cylinder dies first thing you'll notice is the power drop. Secondly it will become cooler on that side with no extra heat to disipaite. Quote
