Nice job with the post, great pics and step by step instructions.

Good point about the different materials for different applications.

 

But you forgot one important step...Put on a face mask!! As Holyman said some bad stuff in brake pads...i.e. asbestos!! :bolt:

i cut mine with the saw so i dont have all that dust. i also use the semi metalic pads. the best ones are usally for light trucks, they make them heavy duty cause they know people abuse the piss out of those little trucks, i also choose those cause they have a large surface area(ie bigger rotors than cars) but thats only when i have to pay for them, usally my buddy that manages an autozone near by gives them to me
