DuneRoller Posted February 1, 2005 Author Report Posted February 1, 2005 Alright. I know this is a little old, but I finally got that damn thing fixed. After trying known good cdi, coil, stator, and new plugs I figured it couldn't be ignition. Went through the carbs again (for the 4th time). All good. Re-checked the carb sync.. good. Finally in a last ditch effort I put a head gasket in it. I figured if nothing else, the bike had been hot once before so why not. Got it back together just in time to leave for Glamis. It ran perfectly. Ran smoother than it had all season and more power than it had before. Thanks guys for all your help. Quote
