When you split your motor do you need to put in a new gasket, I paid a shop to tear apart my motor and let me know everything wrong with it, now do i need to pay the shop again to split it and put in a gasket?

there is no gasket between the cases, not a printed one at least. the shop should have used whats called yamabond-4, its a liquid gasket maker. and it works great.

They said my cylinders were on the last bore and needed new ones, $800

a New head $400

A New crank

New Reeds

Oil Plug and like 5 differnt o-rings.

Gasket Set= $70

And actually...........

Cylinders were on the stock bore

Head just needed to be resmoothed $70

Crank seems tight, nothing loose or bent, dont know why i need a new one

Reeds dont look dammaged

I dont need a oil plug i just needed the plug o-ring.

I gave the stupid shop a brand new bag of gaskets but was just missing 1 o-ring for the head.
