A friend of mine just called and was asking me about his sons blaster problem. I ran out of ideas and thought I would tap into this pool of information here at the Banshee HQ.

 

Apparently it was running fine and then today his son was ridding it and it died. They cleaned the carbs (4 times), checked the plug, etc. The now can get it to idle, but as soon as they give it a little throttle it dies.

 

It has the stock carbs, 310 main, and Toomey Pipe. It also still has the TORS.

 

Any ideas?

You nailed it. :headbang: He called me back and said he got it running after he disconnected the TORS at the black box.

I just rebuilt the tranny in a raptor, put a cam in it, exhaust, intake, got it started. Reacted the same way, looked around and found the black box. Whalla, problem solved...Yamaha has them on the Raptors also... :wacko:
