I ran out of ideas and thought I would tap into this pool of information here at the Banshee HQ. Apparently it was running fine and then today his son was ridding it and it died. They cleaned the carbs (4 times), checked the plug, etc. The now can get it to idle, but as soon as they give it a little throttle it dies. It has the stock carbs, 310 main, and Toomey Pipe. It also still has the TORS. Any ideas? I thought maybe the TORS, but every Banshee I have ever owned has had them removed, so I don Quote

He called me back and said he got it running after he disconnected the TORS at the black box. Quote
Banchetta Posted December 26, 2004 Report Posted December 26, 2004 I just rebuilt the tranny in a raptor, put a cam in it, exhaust, intake, got it started. Reacted the same way, looked around and found the black box. Whalla, problem solved...Yamaha has them on the Raptors also... Quote
