the stroker cranks allow the piston to travel longer in the stroke, for example a +4 stroker crank increases the stroke by 4 mm.......also the aftermarket cranks come trued and welded.

I've heard of people using blaster rods or pistons etc...I am just curious what blaster parts have to do with modifying a banshee? Is this related to stroker motors or long rod motors?

The blaster piston has the wrist pin 5mm higher up in the piston which puts the piston in the same position as stock with a 5mm long rod. Wiseco made banshee specific 795 series pistons to do the same thing.

The stroker plate, or cutom cut stroker domes are to make up the difference in the height of the stroke with the use of a stroker crank. On my bike with a 4mm stroker crank and no spacer plate at the bottom of the cylinders, the pistons come 2mm above the top of the cylinders and into the custom cut stroker domes.

Just curious what the difference is.

A stroker crank has a longer stroke. A 4mm stroker has the pins for the rods 2mm further off center than a stock crank.

Shorty's Racing near Portland OR. Good portwork, but I wouldn't recommend them due to terrible customer service, long story.
