supercoop Posted December 22, 2004 Report Posted December 22, 2004 when I get a new pipe/silencer for my shee I will have to re-jet the carb. However, I will be able to connect the new pipes and silencers up but when it comes to re-jetting the carb I am totally lost on how to do it. I understand what you need to change, the main jet, pilot, change clip on needle etc...but the problem is, I don't know how to do it. So, is there any good guides on the net that tells you how to do this and explains in an easy way with pics or anything, especially on a banshee? another thing, I have noticed that on some guides it tells you to reverse the radiator hose, what does this mean? please can someone help, all help is much appreciated..... superchicken Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 check this out its meats pagebansheezone its very easy to do.the hardest thing is pulling off the air box.stay patient,CLEAN,and and you shouldnt have any problems.the reverse hoses has me stumped.do they mean just turn the hose around,or switch positions on the radiator.if you switch the positions on the radiator,i thing it will over heat Quote
Timmy301 Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 If you turn the big bottom radiator hose around end for end it just fits better. the bends in the hose are better backwards and will give you better clearance for aftermarket pipes. I did it with my T-5s,seemed to fit pretty good! Quote
