Holyman Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 thats what my insurance co said. the claim is going to cost WAY more than my coverage offers. thats why its costing me. 296580[/snapback] They are wrong. In fact they should still offer to pay the claim even if it is beyond your insurance policy limits. Don't sell nothin' until the law suit is over and they send you a bill. Quote
BenBB Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 I don't know much about insurance (a scam) or lawyers (bigger scam) but dude that just sounds way too fucked up. I'd raise some hell with your insurance company, I mean that's the whole reason you pay that shit (other than being a requirement in most states, like NM), so if something like that happens ya don't get taken to the cleaners... Holyman was in the insurance business and I'm sure he knows what he is talking about. Don't let the insurance company shit on you. Quote
SHEe DEVIL Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 way back when I was 16 in the middle of january this lady was backing outta a bank drive through onto the busy street. I saw her and slowed way down, i grazed her bumper doing about 4 mph cause i hit a little bit of ice and i couldnt go into the other lane or i would of had a head on collision. She tried fighting saying that I screwed her neck and back up, and my insurance company just laughed (it was state farm too). After fighting with the other insurance company and screaming on the phone. It was settled at 80% her fault and 20% my fault for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. She got nothing except for my insurance to cover getting her bumper painted. She was pissed cause she didnt get her doctor bills covered from her so called injury of me hitting her so hard at 4mph. So I think things should turn out ok. Quote
