I just got a cool head with 20cc domes. Im at about 600ft, I run high octane gas from the pump (dont know exactly what octane) and I have wiseco pistons bored one size up, boyeson reeds, fmf fattys all around. Apparently, running 20cc domes is bad with what I got? Please help, I havent ran the engine with the new head on, so thiers still time for me to change out the domes.

You should be okay if your timing isn't advanced. Find out what the octane is. You really should run at least 92 octane. I thought it was a 'Christmas' present.

Tell the truth, you couldn't wait! My wife took my cool head and wrapped it up in a different size box. I'd hafta open them all to find it, she'd really be PO'd then. :rotflmao:

I run those domes at Glamis which is about 500' elevation.

I run half race gas and half premium.

I have done this for 3 years with no problems.

I would run some race gas if I were you.

What you have will work just fine and wont give you any problems. If at all possible use 2 gal. Race fuel (110 octane) and 3 gal. premium fuel in it. With 20cc domes you can still run pump gas but I wouldnt recommend it unless you dont have a choice. I have 19cc domes in mine and mix my gas the same as above. Once you get it all together do a plug test and make sure your jetting is dialed in. If you dont know how just ask us. Also, yes you can still advance the timing you just have to make sure to use the gas mixture I said to use and everthing will be as dependable as stock. Give er hell!
