williamjernigan Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 When I was putting back my carbs tonight I noticed that the needle has play like you can wiggle it around a little. When I slid the slide into the carb the needle was not exactly lining up with the hole it is supposed to go in. Just curious if this is normal. Also when I am jetting, I should only change one thing at a time so that I will no what is right and wrong, wright. Quote
jasonsb Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 The needles do have normal movement. That wiggle your talking about is o.k. Did you take the two screws out that give you access to the needle clip? If you did, make sure you put them back correctly. As far as the needles not sliding into the hole, that's normal too. Your carbs are at a slight angle, so you have to manuver them back somehow. Quote
sredish Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 Did you say you had a question about a needle dick??? We can't help you with that.... Oh, needle jet... i get it. Yea, it'll move around in the slide a little when the slides out. When you put the slide back in the carb, it will drop into the little hole that leads to the main and keep it in position. No worries. Quote
