bansheetimes2 Posted December 22, 2004 Report Posted December 22, 2004 Yeah groundhogs are hearty motherf*ckers. I had one in my shed. Until one morning I spotted him out my dining room window and grabbed the 20ga with a 3in mag brenneke slug. Snuck out the front door, around the side of the house and leaned up against the corner of the house. He didn't see it coming took his freaking head off and believe me he didn't run away. I chose the 20 instead of the 22 because i've heard that a 22 will just hurt them and not kill them. As for squirrels if you can use a shotgun(which in the city that might not work) it makes it easy to clean up because there is nothing but hair and a tail. Quote
ellison445 Posted December 22, 2004 Report Posted December 22, 2004 NYUK, I have to check my basement. I have a couple of Blockbusters left over from the 4th that will do the trick. I know they worked for me with a little Raccoon problem I had. I will pm you later on when I check, if your interested! Quote
BigRed350x Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 If you can find .22cal hollow-point rounds (wal-mart here in wy) they will kill pretty big ground squirrels with no problem at all. We shoot them all the time for practice. What you really need is an M-16. Quote
