Lepew Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 Tell us more. Is you rearend all stock? Quote
Holyman Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 Yeah... need to know if you're stock or not. Quote
MiSFiTz Posted December 12, 2004 Report Posted December 12, 2004 assuming its stock your axle nuts are way to tight. *I did the same thing.. * Quote
1sreamin350 Posted December 12, 2004 Author Report Posted December 12, 2004 I just took it all apart again and added silicone grease. I didnt add any before. But anyhow it works great. Was able to polish the rotor while it was off so that was cool.. Yes the rear end is stock. Quote
squish Posted December 14, 2004 Report Posted December 14, 2004 Did you add a zerk fitting? If you did and pump it full of grease it would be hard to turn. Once you get it on it will go away. Quote
Cotton eyed Joe Posted December 14, 2004 Report Posted December 14, 2004 It aint gonna spin freely unless you wash all the grease out of the bearings, take all the seals off the bearing and take the lip seals off. Other than that there will be some rolling resistance from the seals and the grease. When I put the tires on, I can spin it and maybe get a couple turns out of it with the chain on. Quote
