Phatboyz Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 I am going to try to port my first set of 2 stroke jugs. I have done 4 stroke (car and bike) but never a two stoke. What I am looking to do it enhance the bottom and midrange. Actually a killer mid to upper would be fine. I always ride on the pipe so I wouldn't need much bottom. Right now I am going to open up the intake windows sligtly and taper the bridge. Clean up the transfer ports, What should I do about the cases and the ports on the bottom of the jug. They look real small. I though about rounding those off. I know that everyone here could comment on this so this is why I am asking. I have a .60 over motor, noss head (maybe 20cc)FMF Pipe/silencer,Ported reed cages,28mm mikuni, open air box lid, Quote
Machwon Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 While you're at it, I would remove the top case half and match the cylinders with a new gasket and the top crankcase. Get the crank trued and welded. I wouldn't mess with the ports on the bottom of the cylinder. Widen the exhaust port and straighten things up would be a good idea too. Quote
