thebloker Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 For some reason or another, it seems like nobody made an aluminum case saver for the Banshee. I know other places made Al ones as well as the polyethelene ones, but none for the Banshee. This one is pretty cheap compared to the cost of poly vs. Al (Less than $30.00). I ordered it from them a while ago and didn't have any problems with delivery or fit and finish. Check them out at www.modquad.com , thought some people find that site usefull. Quote
SDD Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 I have that on my bike... you will have to do a tad bit of modifing. If you have a stock stator cover you have to cut some plastic that sticks out on top of the sprocket. If you plan on running a 15 or larger tooth sprocket you have to oval out the mounting screw holes and do a little trimming on the inside of the case saver so the chain won't rub against it. You might also have to remove some material where the clutch throw out arm is. Other than all that work I hope it does it's job... not that I ever plan on testing it. Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 Maybe someone could talk Stan into making some that will accept up to a 17 tooth sprocket without modification? Quote
Big Blue Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 I have that one also, the only thing i had to do was trim up my stock stator cover. Quote
Holyman Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 I've been looking for an Aluminum one. Thanks for the tip. Quote
