87sheerips
Well, i was re-installing my caliper after sending my chain thru the case. Im done with the rebuild but the rear caliper is rubbing against the rotor in a certain spot on the mounting bracket. I think the bracket might be bent from the chain incident, which did some tweaking of the rear carrier, etc. everything else is straight and rebuilt. heres a couple pics to help Edited December 7, 2004 by 87sheerips

mat
See if the brake disc is bent by putting a jack stand under the rear carrier and rotating the axle. Use a dial indicator if you have one. Next I suggest checking the distance between the caliper mounting tabs and the rotor. These should both be the same. If not, use a hammer to adjust them.
