BansheeGuy_IV Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 Hey folks, I have cascade aluminum clamps that I used with my Toomey pipes. I have Rocket Pipes now. Apparently the cascade clamps won't fit. So what clamps do I use for Rocket Pipes? Thanks, B Quote

Ducman Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 I have a set of stinger to pipe seals made by chozen performance that work very well and look really nice. You can see them on page 6 of the banshee parts on chozenperformance.com. They don't list a set specifically for Rockets but they do make the correct size, you just need to measure the stinger tube and expansion chamber outlet diameter and figure out which one will fit. They are one piece aluminum with an o-ring seal on either end. They just slide on tight, no clamp. They have a step inside; 2 diameters, one for the stinger, one for the expansion chamber. I had to trim about 1/4 inch off of the stinger tube because it wouldn't go into the seal far enough for the silencer to mount. Check out the pics below. Quote
duner Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 Kinda dissapointed to see that, from my end. They look simalar to mine,(mine are straight with about a 1/4'' bevel on each end). This design of clamps works very well if Viton O Rings Are used. The price looks right too. Nice clamps Ducman. Quote

Also, like I said the seals require you to modify the stinger tubes (shorten) to fit, you could make them so no trimming is required. Basically now my Rockets must me used with the seals I have. Minkia38 (Ray) might be interested in a few sets for Rocket customers if he hasn't already arranged to have a few sets made himself. Quote
