DUNEDEMON Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 You can use / rent a "tie rod puller" from an auto parts place, or just smack the side of the stem & spindle with a dead blow ball peen hammer. Make sure the castle nuts are loose first and do not hit the threaded potion. Good luck Quote
ledofthezep Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 I used a pickle fork. Put some grease on the forks so you don't tear into the boots. Quote

370banshee Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 heres an easy way to do it.... put the nut back on about a thread maybe two so teh nut sticks above teh stud.... then get a punch and the nut will keep it form popping off the stud when you hit it with the BFH... been doing it that way for years never had a problem...
