Klotzban1 Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 Ok here is what I have....I want to keep me shee alive and hate to damage her in anyway. My Banshee I did some cutting work on my Airbox awhile back and now I run an open K&N filter with outerwear hooked to a K&N Pro Flow adapter with an O ring mounted to the stock front plate of my airbox. Looks trick!! My front plate of the airbox still fits over the hooks on the frame. It seems pretty solid and doesnt seem to stress the carbs any. What I'm wanting to ask you all is....On Banshees ...Is it better to run 1 K&N filter for both carbs to breath out of or should I use a two filter setup? If I run two filters .....Are they smaller than the One K&N set up? Thanks ahead Quote
Flyin_Shee Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 They will be smaller than the one filter setup because you won't be able to fit two big filters side-by-side coming out of the carbs. I would say go with the 2-filter setup as it will probably draw in more air. Quote

I would believe that runnin one will clog up faster, verses each havin their own to breath from. I have had no problems yet. Quote
Banshee~ Posted November 27, 2004 Report Posted November 27, 2004 The one your running is fine....but your wanting to remove the airbox your going to have to get 2. Quote
decon Posted November 27, 2004 Report Posted November 27, 2004 your desicion should also be based on where u ride. if u ride in like water and mud, its not a good desicion to get rid of the airbox because it protects your filter from that stuff. i would say keep the setup u have right now. Quote
