Also that means not just the slides being in sync, but the idle screws as well. My pipes were smoking unevenly and I realized that one carb was slightly off from where the other was (idle screw). Got them synced, started smoking evenly...

 

How does it run like it is now?

I'm not trying to be a d**k or anything but just because you replaced the seal does not mean it was done correctly.

 

Everybody makes mistakes sometimes, that's why pencils have erasers. Recheck your work.
