ive blown two topends, both on the left side. i am also not the only person to have more problems with this side than the right. so what up with that? is there some grimlin in my left rod bearing or what?

How about the crank seal? Did you check your ring gap? Is the bore right? Are the oil jouranls at the bottom clear? How did it blow?.. melt, rings, crank?

 

You need to make a leak down tester with a vac and pvc.

yeah a leak down is definately going to made for this go around. as for the bor and ring end gap, ill have my machinist measure all of those for me.

 

but no i havent determined the cause. :confused:

sure is. it was the result of poor decisions. i was showin off for some buds, after some buds. :cheers::confused: other wise i probably would have noticed shit going not quite right and shut 'er down. just money though, right? :cry:

my guess is crank seals. On the left you suck air and melt down. On the right you suck oil and it's more forgiving.

very good point glad i replaced all the seals for this go around.
