98TEAM ALBA Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 I am currently helping a friend rebuild his shee after a nice hole through one of his pistons. Can someone please tell me how to tell the size of pistons that are currently in there so we know what overbore we will be goin to. Quote
racer Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 never seen a hole in a piston before. j/k check my avatar <<<<<<<<< take off the other side and the size number should be stamped on the crown on the piston. might have to use a little elbow grease to remove the carbon buildup though. FIRST BANSHEE Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 If you can't read the top of the piston, try a micrometer on the piston or an inside mic on the jug. Quote
