bansheebones396 Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 I live on Long Island and theres no place to ride now a days we use to ride everywhere but laws are outta control suffolk county has an atv taskforce mybike and 3 buddys were impounded sunday after riding all day we loaded up and ready to leav they the shit hit the fan get this 2 state troopers 6 pig on quads 2 park police and a heiocopter give me a break first time is 500 impound with fines 2nd time is 500 impound with 500 t0750 fines 3rd is $3000 and $5000 in fines with 16 days in jail they gave me a ticket for trespasing and no insurince me banshee was registered but fuck it now you pay for a registration but get nowhere to ride in return well FUCK the DEC and sgt. banshee0044 Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 got stopped by the chief of police in my town..drove his car over the curb and spun out in front of my in the grass..got out and had the gun pointed...at that point..i figured i should stop...i got arrested the banshee got impounded...got it out 2 days later for 0$ cause my grandma knows the owner of the tow company...ended up going to court for two tickets (operating an atv on a roadway and no drivers liscense)....ended up with a 50$ fine and court supervision for a year...not too bad Quote
Nighty Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 Hehe cool There was this one time where ab and me (ab is my riding budy) went back to the forrest, Its a really small forrest but it has a really awesome track in it, we made it ourselfs like 7 years ago in the time we still rode mx bikes. We hadn't been there for like 3 months since it had became a special attention point for the cops. I still cant figure out why, its the most remote place i can think off. its right above the freeway and 3 miles from the nearest house. Ah well so we went there on the quads and hauled some serious ass after cleaning up the track. (dead trees and other stuff). after a few rounds of chassing each other we took a break to rest. Ab was still riding a raptor at the time and had a issue with his starter. it automaticly engaged and kept starting all the time. Turned out to be a damaged wire. But to prevent his starter from damage he disconnected the starting relais underneeth the seat. So we we are sitting there and i hear something behind us. i look around and see 2 guys comming in the forrest dressed like regular civilians on foot, in the blink of my eye i see something like a portable cb and figure.. BAD BUSINESS! While sitting on my seat i crank the shee over which fires up instandly i rev it to the moon open the fuel petcock shift into what i figured to be `1ste gear and launch off... wheels spinning and all and i hear WHAAAAP ... and i'm like WTF! Next thing i know i have this huge mussle man hanging around my neck asking me what i was doing.. i say.. oooh was just going for a spin. Ab never launched since his raptor coulndt start without a connected starter relais. My banshee stalled because: I parked the shee in 5th gear ... turned it off right after the staight in the forrest. i never ever do that.. i always shift back.. but as always... bad luck. Well this storry does have a tail but ill safe it for some other time. Quote

We were about 200 yards away from getting into the dirt, so my friend floored it. About half way I looked back and some 3 units pursuing us. As that wasn't enough another unit was coming straight toward us. My insane friend popped up on the curb and then made it to the desert were we lost them. The cops were looking for us for hours Quote
