I got their thumb throttle & cable, but I refuse to use the cable..it's the biggest P.O.S. I've ever bought for my machine! The throttle asy took a little bit of modification to get it to work "just" right and it's been holding up well for me. The pull is lighter for me..the terry cable has way too much resistance in it for my taste and it's a P.O.S.! Get a motion pro cable and your probs will be solved.

YA, I HAD THE MOTION PRO TWIST ON IT FOR A WHILE, BUT I JUST LIKE THE THUMB BETTER, I CAN RIDE FASTER WITH IT....SO I SHOULD USE PUT THE MOTION PRO CABLE AND CARB CAPS ON??? I KINDA LIKED THE STAINLESS CABLE, BUT OF COURSE FUNCTION OVER LOOKS IN THIS APPLICATION FOR SURE!!

the way that they put the ends on over that oversized stainless cable is just simply a joke

the stainless braided stuff is so much bigger than a standard cable is so they have these sleezes that they crimp over the ends.................and that stainless sleave isnt a very solid thing to crimp to and the sleeve will alwasy come off of the end of the cable

well, their isn't anything you can do except take the return spring out of the throttle housing...The cable is teflon lined and any lube will just ruin it. Also make shure their arn't any extreame angles in your cable routing..keep it as straight as possible.

THANX FOR ALL THE HELP....HOW MUCH SHOULD I TAKE OFF THE RETURN SPRINGS??? YOU'D THINK IT MIGHT MAKE ONE CARB OPEN/CLOSE FASTER THAN THE OTHER IF THEY ARE NOT PERFECTLY THE SAME LENTH.....SO I IMAGINE GETTING THEM PERFECT MIGHT BE HARD???
