I'd love to man, but I'm broke as hell(that's an understatement), and the only reason I'm going is because it's a free ride down there and I got gas to burn up. Upper 40's to lower 50's & nice, wet, packed sand...very little traffic. It was great riding during the day, but we didn't get to ride at all saturday night due to the frigg'n rain. Just sat under a tarp by the fire & drank until we were about to pass out...then made way to the tent. Had a good time though, as usual; it was definately awesome to be able to go out and really get down with our bad selves without having to watch every turn & dune top for other riders. But I checked the weather for the week in Waynoka, and its supposed to rain everyday this week except for friday, saturday and sunday. I hope the wet sand doesnt fuck everything up, and I hope it doesnt rain while we are down.. Ill be pissed.. Ive never ridden in sand before, so Im not sure what to expect when its wet, dry, ect... ledofthezep Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 Doesn't get better than wet sand IMHO...very nice hookup, especially with paddles. Gives me a chub just thinking about it. Powdery sand is cool too, but wet sand is the shizzle; won't fuck anything up. Rain sucks, but it does look like you guys are going to have a kickass weekend to ride with no rain, just wet sand...may be a little chilly, but that's cool too, hopefully the colder temps will keep the traffic down. bansheefreak Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 last easter it was packed ofcourse and rained all weekend .. it was so rough i could hardly hold on.... but got1banshee was down there with us he rode all weekend.. we sat in the trailer and drank beer.... we been there to many times to ride a whole bunch when it raining.... it was his first.... my first time i was riding all the time no matter what.... It seems like it changes everyday.. Hopefully itll change to a nice weekend. Anyone going this weekend for sure?
