fast500#12 Posted October 28, 2004 Report Share Posted October 28, 2004 plastic renew works well. i used it on my ky 500. after i was about half way done with the front fender i just went out and bought a new one because it was taking sooo long. i get impattient some times. and the new fenders were only 20 buck for that thing. so if you have the time and pattience and don't wanna spend a couple of hundred bucks. its probably just wat your looking for. XBADASSBANSHEEX Posted October 29, 2004 Report Share Posted October 29, 2004 if you know anyone with a bead blaster it takes all the scratches off but dulls plastic. paint em man and it will look sweet mine did. if i had a camera i would post pics. i thought about buying some of ebay and re doing them, mine were thrashed ive decided to get new since i rebuit my bike ground up good luck man! recomp Posted November 1, 2004 Report Share Posted November 1, 2004 I spray son of a gun cleaner/protector on mine and it does help with making it look like new. what I do is just spray it all over and then leave it there to soak in. every couple of days i spray more on it and then before i go riding i wipe it off and man! it looks great..
