FireHead Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 Tuurning a Geo Tracker into a mud machine is like saying the you are going to turn a Kenworth into a IRL car. Less crack is better. Quote
MudSlinger09 Posted October 24, 2004 Author Report Posted October 24, 2004 well , ive seen it done , i found some pics last night geo tracker Quote
KRMit Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 My father-in-law has a Suzuki Samurai he likes taking in the mud and cruising around the dirt roads on. I think he's got it lifted and has wheel spacers on it. I haven't seen it in a while and I've never took it in the mud but I know he likes it. Quote
Cotton eyed Joe Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 There used to be one here a couple years ago. 8+ lift, and what looked like 33" super swampers. I've seen 2 in the dunes so far, un modified!!!! Me and my buddy were following one around one easter weekend. That sumbitch lost us once until we seen up at the top of this hill. We couldn't figure out how he got up that far with out us even seeing it. They can be all light and nimbly pimbly like a cat. Quote

racer Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 if youve never gotten stuck, youre not trying hard enough. ive seen some pretty rad sami before. they rule the tight shit. kinda like how blasters are good cause of their size. check out calmini offroad. they do a lot of stuff for minis Quote
MudSlinger09 Posted October 24, 2004 Author Report Posted October 24, 2004 (edited) thanks therail ill tell him to check it out . we were down at san luis pass on galveston island and my dad just jolted the tracker through the sand , and if u have ever been there u know the sand right by the bridge is very soft , and our rear end was hoppin and bumpin . it was great . that was the only time weve nearly gotten stuck . FireHead Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 You could drive a Geo Metro between the frame and the body thanks too that body lift. Unless its warranted to clear an engine swap, body lifts are shitty. You wouldn't be catching as much shit if you had a Suzuki Samurai. Quote
racer Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 (edited) body lifts do suck shit. hard on your parts like shifters and stuff, plus a PITA to install. suspension all the way baby. i just looked at that page and it takes 6" inches of combined lift to run 32's Edited October 25, 2004 by therail Quote
