snysideup Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 please lead me somewere with this problem.... the right side back fires when letting off the gas and when you first get in the gas just before the power band hits. I have checked to see if the plug was good and to see if it is tight and both are fine.. dont know what else to check...HELP!!! Quote

itsaripper Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Almost anytime you have a backfire on a two stroke you are lean. In the rpm range you are talking about there is something in the pilot jet. A friends banshee was doing just what you said and when I cleaned the carb out there was a little piece of fuzz in it.
