I am a Varmint Hunter I built a Winchester model 70 in 22-250. 26 inch Bullbarrel, Pillar & glass bedded receiver than Full floated the Barrel, Trigger Pull was Set at 34 oz. Sync Ramline black stock

6x24 power Target Scopes. 22-250 It would shoot a .300 group at 100 yards.

I also reload too. 3550 fps 55gr Sierra Blitz Only thing left was there Feet.

Few beers and Dobbie to calm the nerve.

Dogs bread like Flies, There is a Point to it. Why do you swat them? There dirty? Maybe you don't want them in your House? Or they Just play bug you.

But it's more the Gun for me and The long shot. Am I a Sportsman Hell no I am a Target Shooter. You can't even See a Dog with the naked eye at 500 yards and the challenge is the wind. They are very small target like a 6 inch high chunk of 2x4 turned sideways.

and as far as the video goes I should make my Own B)

I have to agree that hungting is just a broad term that covers many aspects of marksmanship, stalking, tracking, and ultimately shooting your target wether a sage rat, a prairie dog, or an elk or deer. Just like when someones says I'm going riding, it could mean on a quad, a dirt bike, or sandrail.

I am all for people hunting or exterminating these varmints. If you ever saw what kind of damage these little critters could cause, you would be amazed. There are several ranches that we regularly help to control the population of these pests, and that's exactly what they are, but rather than swat them with a fly swatter, we just use bullets. Prairie dogs, sage rats, digger squirels, what ever they call them in your part of the country have an amazing reproduction rate, something like every 30-40 days with a litter of 4-10(don't quote me, I'm not a biologist)

For the varmint enthusiasts. I use anthing from a ruger 10-22 with a bull barrell, synthetic stock, and a 3x9 scope, a .17 remington with 25 grain hollow points moving close to 4400 fps, or my 7MM w/ 150 grain nosler ballistic tips for those long range varmints.

Something to think about: Isn't the guy that rides out of bounds, and destroys public lands still considered a rider. What about the guy who shoots holes in signs, and poaches game illegally. It's usually the few that ruin it for the many, and establish the mindset for the rest..........
