Animalman294 Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 I would like to know how many people trail ride their Banshee's, and if they over heat. If they don't how is your bike set up for cooling. Sometimes I can go riding and the bike stays cool, and at other times the engine boils . Not Good. At this time I haven't even done any mods except for T-5's, but I figured I need to solve this problem first. Quote
Capone Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 Pro design - Coolhead Highly recommended/ Engine Ice Coolant, possibly a larger water pump impeller, and some in-line coolers, if you get all of that you should never overheat. If you still do, they have larger radiators...etc. Quote
txblueshee Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 Everytime I see one of his post..... my finger starts scratching at the delete button....maybe it's just me. Mike Quote
KRMit Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 My temps get up to about 200 if I putt around in 1st, but if I'm ripping through the trails like my ass is on fire there's no problem. You just have to look at airflow. The faster you go the cooler it runs. If you're going to be riding real slow you may want to look into a larger radiator. Quote
