She rarely rode it and that is why I decided to fix it up for myself. Everything was done right and now some idiot pulled in front of me on a steep hill and I had to stop and bail off. My foot hit the shifter and it went into nuetral and free wheeled and flipped down the hill. The motor was still running when I got it and it landed right side up. The only bad part was the frame was bent and my wife now wants a new bike that I won't modify. BEST OFFER OVER $2,500 TAKES IT ALL. I'm not going to part it out as I don't want to deal with 20 different people all wanting different parts. I'm located in Northern California near San Jose, Calif. Call if your interested. (408) 842-1400 Ask for Gary. This is not a piece of junk. All you need is a frame and a rear axle and a few other parts and your set. IF YOU BLEW your motor and need a bunch of new stuff at a steal this is the deal for you! Edited October 9, 2004 by GLWBEAR Quote

corkforbrains Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 I bought it..Interesting adventure. It's a yellow/red '97 with tail damage, bent axle, bars, alittle plastic and a bent upper A. This guys all aces folks...what he said is what it be. The Duncan motor is a joy to behold... Took 7 hours one way and dodged the Yosemite blizzard on the way back..Still, a pretty cool adventure.. tats4life Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 just a head's up duncan's motors have problems with seizing pistons.......get rid of the pro-x's that are in the motor. Quote
corkforbrains Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 I paid $2500 for it... Thanx for the info on Duncan seizures...He told me to run edline in it and stick with VP 10 I beleive. If it's just gonna seize, I'm gonna let it. I'm so new at this, it'll be awile before I'm pushing it hard enough that I'll begin worrying about it I suspect..Thanx for the advice just th same! Quote
