sandoz43 Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 Working on my buddies shee, and can't figure this out. It will start run for a little bit then just die. Seems like when it's just getting up to temprature it will shut it self off. It's basically stock, except the pipes. We wondered if the choke is stuck, but we had the carbs apart and everything seems ok. Any ideas? Quote

racer Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 could be the stator. mine went bad on me and it would start first kick no prob. but after it got warm it wouldnt idle very well and you could forget about kick starting it for at least an hour. if that is the issue seems like itd be agood time to get a 200w upgrade, i wish i had.
