williamjernigan Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 I am planning to do all my mods at once. I have fmf sst's, k&n, 15 tooth front sprocket and -2 swingarm on the way. I know their are alot of different oppinions about carbs and the setup but with the mods I have mentioned do you think that I first of all should get bigger carbs, single carb kit, or no carbs at all. Maybe get the TORS Removal kit to making jettng easier, but event hat is not necessary, since FMF's charts should get you close to perfect on the first time depending on your mods elivation and temperatures....The stock carbs are perfect for a banshee with pipes, and air filter mod, otherwise I would only go up one size at the most. But, if you ride in water or want them to be easier to jet don't spend the money on a tors removal kit. Just get some 28mm carbs. The tors kit is around $70. New carbs can be had for around $200 with a cable. You can still use your stock boot with keihn carbs that size. You'd get better suggestions if you let us know what type of riding you do.
