fixitrod Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 Depends what color the smoke is. White is coolant Blue tint is oil Black is gas Quote
sredish Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 try changing the plugs then if it's still there, there maybe an issue in the carb, maybe the air screw on the one side needs some adjustment. I've seen where the air screw on one may be a little more in or out when compared to the other. Quote
JBOMBR Posted September 23, 2004 Author Report Posted September 23, 2004 smokes black air screws are both 1.5 turns out i should try pull'n er out another 1/4 turn, see what that does Quote
fixitrod Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 Since you have aftermarket carbs you can switch sides with them. Then you'll be able to tell if it's the carb or something in the engine. If the smoke follows the carbs, you know where to look without chasing your tail all day. Quote
JBOMBR Posted September 23, 2004 Author Report Posted September 23, 2004 perfect. we'll switch em and go frome there thanks Quote
