williamjernigan Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 There is a new 0-Ring chain and sprocket set on ebay. The front tooth is 15 and the back is 41. I have a set of FMF SST'S that I am just about to put on and I was wondering will they along with cut airbox lid and k&n filter give me enough power to pull the 15 tooth front sprocket. I mostly trail ride on fast paths and on some roads. The set is $67.99. Sounds like a deal. What do yall think? Quote
sredish Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 a 15/41 is the perfect setup for a piped banshee, in my opinion. You'll love it for trail riding, much less shifting and you can hold gears longer. It's what I've ran for over a year. I just recently swapped to a 15/42 because the xc race i was in got really tight and i wanted a slightly lower gear. try it and you'll like it. Quote
gurny Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 15/41 is the way to go. The gears seem soo much longer in the trails and in a straight away. You will like it. Quote
Big Boi Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 thats my exact setup with my sst's i love it!! Quote
MiSFiTz Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 Got the same setup and i can tell a hell of a difference in stock and it.. The gears like they said are longer and not as much shifting BTW did i mention the wheelies are longer Quote
