tzola Posted September 14, 2004 Report Posted September 14, 2004 I have a 94. I just put in a new crank and piston kit and started the bike and only the left cylinder was making power. First i checked for spark in the right cylinder which was good then cleaned the carbs. still nothing, i also swaped carbs and right cylinder still dead. The only time that i can get the right cylinder to do any thing is when i spray some starting fluid into the intake. also i checked compression and it seems to be good. if i have fuel, fire and compression what else could i check. i will take any advice. Thanks Quote
J.J. Posted September 14, 2004 Report Posted September 14, 2004 (edited) i also swaped carbs and right cylinder still dead. You swapped the carbs???? Dude, that means you are obviously not aware of the choke tube, little black hose about 2 inches or so long that connects the two carbs.... One of the HQ members has allready edited this pic for educational purposes, thanks who ever you are... Edited September 14, 2004 by J.J. Quote
